1.What Playthrough is
Playthrough is a free service to log the games you play, rate them by criteria, build lists, write and follow trophy guides and keep up with other people. These terms apply to the site and to the app.
When you create an account, you accept these terms, the Privacy policy and the Content guidelines, which form a single set with one version, shown at the top of this page.
2.Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, use Playthrough with the knowledge of your parent or guardian.
Each person has one account. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens with your account. Confirming your email is required to publish reviews, vote and report.
- Use real information and a @handle that doesn't imitate another person or brand.
- Don't share, sell or transfer your account.
- Let us know if you think someone got into your account.
3.What you publish
Reviews, scores, lists, guides, images, bio and links remain yours. So that Playthrough can work, you give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, adapt the format of (as in share cards) and distribute that content within the service while it is published.
Published reviews and guides keep a version history that other people can read. You are responsible for what you publish and must follow the Content guidelines.
4.Scores, rankings and game data
Each game's score is a weighted average of the community's reviews and is a reference, not a guarantee of quality. Rankings and statistics can change at any time.
Game information (titles, dates, covers, companies) comes largely from IGDB, a third-party source, and may contain errors. Game names, brands and images belong to their owners.
5.Moderation
Anyone with a confirmed email can report reviews, lists, guides and profiles. The moderation team reviews reports and may hide content, clear a profile (bio, links and photo), warn or suspend an account, for a period or indefinitely.
Hidden content stops showing for other people but stays visible to whoever published it. Warnings and suspensions arrive by email with the reason.
6.Acceptable use
To protect the scores and the community, there are activity limits, such as reviews per day and votes per hour. You may not:
- Create accounts or coordinate actions to inflate or tank a game's score.
- Automate access, copy data in bulk or try to get around limits and blocks.
- Interfere with how the service works or access what isn't yours.
- Use Playthrough for anything illegal.
7.Closing your account
You can delete your account whenever you want, in Settings. Your data is deleted as described in the Privacy policy.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the Content guidelines.
8.The service as it is
Playthrough is provided as is. We work to keep it running well, but features may change, go offline or stop existing. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect losses caused by using the service or by content published by other people.
Links to other sites are the responsibility of whoever runs them.
9.Changes to these terms
When these terms, the Privacy policy or the Guidelines change, we publish a new version and let you know on the site and in the app, asking you to accept it.
10.Governing law
These terms follow the laws of Brazil, including the Consumer Protection Code and the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) where they apply.
