How to delete it
Sign in to your account
In the Playthrough app or on this site, with email and password, or with Google or Apple if that's how you created the account.
Open Settings
In the app: Profile tab › Settings › Your data. On the site: your photo's menu › Settings › Data.
Choose Delete account and confirm
Enter your password. If the account was created with Google or Apple and has no password, request the code and enter the 6 digits sent to your email.
The account is deleted right away and you're signed out on every device. Want to keep a copy? Use Export data, in the same Settings, before deleting.
What is deleted
- The account, sessions and linked ways to sign in (Google and Apple; for Apple, we also ask for access to be revoked).
- Your profile, photo and preferences.
- Your library, play diary, goals and achievements.
- Your reviews with their versions, comments, lists and guides.
- Votes, likes, favorites, who you follow and who you blocked.
- Notifications, devices registered for push and Steam imports.
- Reports filed by you and about you and the moderation decisions about your account.
What may remain for a while
- Backups and technical server logs, for a limited time, until they are replaced.
- App crash reports, which don't include your email or account id, until they expire.
- Decisions you took as a moderator stay on record, without your name.
- A comment of yours that had replies becomes a deleted comment notice, without the text, so the conversation still makes sense.
Details about your data are in the Privacy policy.
